This post has been channeled. The entity in question who is being channeled, is The Simurgh, who lays claim to the legend and the truth of this name as humans understand it.

GREETINGS AND BENEVOLENCE!

Despite the ongoing conditions of humanity and its troubles, some spirits are not affected. We have personal things to think of, large and small. I am one of these. The benefice and travail affecting your species is not my own, though I notice and have sympathy.

I am the Simurgh. Let me tell you about myself.

* I am a guardian. This is not something well known among you. What I guard is the idea of Heaven, or of similar experiences. The idea of a place or experience which is a positive realm, one that provides for its peoples and will always be good, one that will always be waiting when someone is present in spirit.

* I am a mother. This is not well understood. Spirits are not often considered mothers unless they are OF a species. I am OF several species, and often use my abilities to observe and watch over them. I also am OF the realm of servants of good. If the true good is threatened in any way, I or another like me will be present to guard it.

* I am an immortal. Unlike many beings, if I as the Simurgh am killed, I simply do not die. I persist, even injured, and heal. This may be confusing to some; but it represents the undying nature of love.

* I am a goddess. You, human, may not know me. I AM DRAGON. "The Simurgh" is merely a title, made easier because one of my forms is the golden eagle. But if there is anything that can be said to be a dragon, I will know if that claim is true. They are my children, guardians all, light and dark, ordered and chaotic.

Because I am speaking to you through this channel, I should give you then a name.
I am called "Dimá", which (ironically, considering the Latin) means "Bright" or "Shining one". The quality of my spirit is called "efth", meaning "brisance" (brilliance, such as of a brightly burning flame) or "albedo" (the quality of being reflective).

I am the Star of dragonkind. "Simurgh" is translated differently among us; not "thirty eagles" but "SOUL BEARER": "Zya-Mürg" or "Z'hia-Mürg". It is my proper title.

BUT WHY THIS?

Yes. Why do I now ask this humble and relative unknown to channel for me?
Because she is available. Because she is respectful. Because she is my daughter. Because she can, and I have need of a voice. Though Ra is a friend and lover, though Iðunn is a beloved foster child, these are not who is needed to speak to humanity.

Also, she has need of a keeper who has no qualms about doing what is needed in the interests of good.

For this reason and many more, I now announce this: Query of ME anything. Ask, and I will answer. Anything! Anonymous or not, make your post in comment. The creature who here is called Zeeth (itself a draconic word) will bear my reply. I make no limit of time on this offer, only that the bearer or channel herself may not always have time.

I am reminded to make a disclaimer. Very well. I make no disclaim as to the nature or quality of my own truth, but that I am not entirely omniscient; I am an architect and observe universes and everything in them... but to know all is not within my power. Any law-marking humans would require... I care not. Let law own its truth in the face of justice!
