It's a complex behaviour, but hat wearing is spreading through the ecosystems. Recently kittens have started wearing viking helmets.
Seriously though, I wonder if this behavior could be used to protect corals somehow? Using the urchin's sunshades to prevent coral bleaching as they acquire and discard them.
